We are told in scripture that on the 10th day of the 7th month on Yehovahs calendar (Ethanim) that a day of atonement would be held for all generations for the Hebrews. This is considered a Holy day by Yehovah because it was the only day of the year the High Priest could enter into the Holy of Holies to be in Yehovahs presence to be directed and counseled on what they need to do as His people. Tradition holds to this day also being a day of judgement in finality. That your fate will be sealed for either eternal life or destruction. In this episode we take a look at why this day is so important in the timeline of the return of Christ and how it ties in to Yom Teruah which takes place just a few days prior.
"And I will meet you there, and will speak with you, above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubs which are on the ark of testimony, all which I shall command you concerning the sons of Israel."
Exodus 25:22
