E31 - David Taylor - DIY Dads - Giving Homeless Dads A Chance

Hi this week I have David Taylor with me.

He is the Program Leader at DIY Dads, which is a program run by Hobart City Mission.

DIY Dads provides 8 self-contained units for dads with either full or part time care of their children. The dads can be any age and are able to stay at the DIY Dads program for up to two years.

As well as accommodation, the program provides life and parent skill training that can assist them in living independently in the community, such as budgeting, maintaining a tenancy and making healthy lifestyle choices.
