Join Kyle and Ardon as they discuss one of the most classic things to discuss around the new year: THE END OF THE WORLD. Or at least, what could happen.
Tonight we will specifically talking about Black Holes and 2012.
Black holes are regions of space-time where gravity rules: The gravitational pull of a black hole is so strong that nothing, not even light, can escape. They’re basically a big vacuum/trash compactor. They range in size from stellar-mass black holes, whose masses can run from five to 100 times that of the Sun, all the way to supermassive black holes, which can reach well over a billion solar masses.
The 2012 phenomenon was a range of beliefs that cataclysmic or transformative events would occur on or around 21 December 2012. This date was regarded as the end-date of a 5,126-year-long cycle in the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar.
Various astronomical alignments and numerological formulae were proposed for this date. A New Age interpretation held that the date marked the start of a period during which Earth and its inhabitants would undergo a positive physical or spiritual transformation, and that 21 December 2012 would mark the beginning of a new era.
Hold on to your asses, because things are about to get backwards!
