Season 3 begins! This season, Eric and Joel will bring one (fairly) current topic each, and wonder together what our response to these issues might be from our perspectives of faith.
Eric's issue today - What's more important in a congregation... the congregational relationships regardless of faith differences OR the commonality of our faith/belief even at the expense of some relationships?
Joel's issue today - A Methodist pastor was fired after expressing LGBTQ inclusion in a very big way. What is the responsibility of clergy to accommodate the current beliefs or preferences of a congregation, versus to embody and express the truth of the gospel even if people might reject it and you as their clergy?
