David Baker (Ironworkers Local 44) / Tom Buffenbarger

Ironworkers Local 44 Business Manager and Financial Secretary-Treasurer David Baker made his debut appearance on today’s edition of the AWF Union Podcast. He discussed how the process to obtain a welding certification is too easy, as even pets can get certified to weld. Baker also explained why the  Brent Spence Bridge needs to be repaired. 

Tom Buffenbarger, an Independent Labor Voice for America’s Work Force Union Podcast, was also a featured guest on the show today. He spoke about a potential strike by up to 17,000 unionfreight railway workers and gave an overlook of Joe Biden’s presidency after one year in office.
