The next Voices From The Sperrins podcast sees Paddy Glasgow chatting to two of Heron Bros founders, John and Michael Heron. They chat about the early days starting the company, from they first started back in 1958 and what it took to build the company up until 1997 when Damien Heron took over as Chief Executive.
They chat about growing up in Draperstown, their early jobs and how they grew year on year to get them were they are now, a multi million pound business that works locally and internationally and employ hundreds of people in many different rolls.
With a reputation of building modern forward thinking buildings that fit the world we live in now with sustainability and original concepts at the forefront, Heron Bros are one of the leading contractors in NI with many large scale contracts going at the one time.
Some great stories and humour along the way. Have a listen good people enjoy!
