You'll for sure get a sweet assortment of local Punk Rock. There's a whole 2 day festival this weekend where combat boots and spiked mohawks will be in abundance. Sounds Of The Street brings together over 45 national and local bands, with East Coast 90s veterans The Casualties headlining. The Decayed will represent the Chicago area scene, not holding back on verbal punches to corrupt politicians, which is the title of their fast and furious debut full length album. Singer Jake Youngberg joins me to preview their upcoming gig and talk about the adrenaline rush of their aggressive thrash punk.
