#71- Public Education is failing our kids!- Is Homeschooling for me?

On this episode of A Brother' Creed Podcast we speak with special guest Brett Pike who is the founder of Classical Learner Homeschool company where he consults and teaches parents on how to teach children in the home. He is a father, husband, teacher, education consultant and author of the Cubs to Bears Book series. Brett shares some of his thoughts on how the public school system today is doing more harm than it is good. "Children are forced to spend their childhood looking at concrete walls eight hours a day, five days a week, 162 days a year, for a minimum of 12 years." Not learning the life skills that they need to become a capable independent adult that will thrive in life. If the public school system is no teaching our children real world skills, then who is? We talk through some strategies that parents can implement in life and at home that will cater to the learning on the child and encourage the development of the things that they are interested in and are good at.
