The Power of Parental Influence on Realising a Dream

In Episode 17 we'll look at how parents' attitudes may influence a child's dream. Some parents are overly enthusiastic and praise their kids for anything they do. Our focus for this episode, however, is the parent that disapproves of the things their children want to do or wish to pursue. Parents have the power to talk their children out of it, and influence not only the choices but may instill the notion of incompetency. "I am not good enough", is not a desired statement you want to hear from your child or teenager, and parents better watch how their negative judgement can affect the self-image of the child.
