Cursed for our sake - Mark 15:16-47

After our long journey through Mark’s Gospel, we’ve finally arrived at its culmination – the crucifixion of Jesus. What we’re going to see here, is that Jesus is the fulfilment of that promise that God made in Eden, to break the curse, deal with sin and redeem his people to God. How does he do this? On the cross, he endures the punishment, the curse for sins, that all of us deserve. He dies as an atoning sacrifice on our behalf, so that we are forgiven and restored to God.
