How do I forgive?
Why do I need to forgive?
What happens when I forgive, or if I choose not to?

We all have a deep need to forgive and to be forgiven. But it can feel like an impossible, sometimes even an irresponsible, task. If we grant forgiveness, we might worry that we’ve subverted justice or condoned the harm that has been done. If we withhold forgiveness, we might only suffer further from guilt, or a grudge, or a lifetime of resentment.

In this much-needed Lenten series, we’ll explore how to experience God’s forgiveness, how to name the harm that’s been done, how ask others for forgiveness, how to grant forgiveness to others, how to reframe our past, and how to release ourselves and others from the endless cycle of retribution and pain into a future of healing and wholeness.
