The Adoption & Foster Care Journey
Religion & Spirituality:Christianity
“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” James 1:27
Over the past few weeks, approximately three million people have fled Ukraine—primarily women and children. Entire orphanages are among the Ukrainian refugees now in Poland and Romania. Many of these children were in process of being either hosted or adopted by American families.
On this episode host Sandra Flach speaks with Ukrainian adoptive mom Jill Krenzer. Jill is a team member with the nonprofit hosting organization, Host Orphans Worldwide. Listen in as Jill shares the heartbreak her family and many others are experiencing as they watch the horrors unfold in Ukraine and await the fate of children they were in process to host and/or adopt this summer.
