The Age of Wood – With Gary Mead. Every Third Wednesday we have of Wood Artist, Gary Mead on the show to discuss a native tree, or something else forest related. This month Gary and I each just read the book “The Age of Wood” by Roland Ennos. In this book the author explores how wood is the single most influential material that shaped mankind’s evolution, technological advancements, and overall the key to our success as a species. Gary and I will discuss our thoughts on the book and further the discussion into the Catskill regional ‘Age of Wood’.
