"Those're people who died, who died, they were all my friends and they died."
(From the song "People Who Died" Jim Carroll Band 1980)
Happy Springtime ! Let's get morbid and chat about the great artists who died at age 27. Yes, we have a basic and vapid discussion on the "27 Club" - (Jones, Hendrix, Joplin, Morrison - between '69 & '71) and many others. It's a total shame such great talents left this mortal coil so young... Hell, Eric and I were barely even thinking about doing something worth anything at age 27 - and these folks got awesome and died.
This show was a blast for us - hopefully you enjoy it too. Join us for a stroll through our misunderstanding of musical history - enjoy some tunes, maybe giggle a bit - perfect listening while you are sitting at that computer contemplating why you are stuck behind a desk when you could be a 27yr old dead rock star. (don't die, we need all the listeners we can find)
