- Toxic Masculinity [i] New York Times
- So what does “toxic masculinity,” or “traditional masculinity ideology,” mean? Researchers have defined it, in part, as a set of behaviors and beliefs that include the following:
- Suppressing emotions or masking distress
- Maintaining an appearance of hardness
- Violence as an indicator of power (think: “tough-guy” behavior)
- Spousal Abuse
- In other words: Toxic masculinity is what can come of teaching boys that they can’t express emotion openly; that they have to be “tough all the time”; that anything other than that makes them “feminine” or weak. (No, it doesn’t mean that all men are inherently toxic.)

- Poland/Ukraine Update:
- civilian situation is awful and tragic there. There are many terrible reports which documents russians bestiality. They plunder, kill civilians and rape women. There are pictures of taken over trucks with mobile crematoriums which are used to burn corpses to hide their barbaric behaviors. I dont know if you have seen any of those tragic reports at US media but we have to live with those terrible pictures and tv broadcasts day by day. Humanitary situation at Ukraine is extremely bad.
- And we have seen some of your tweets that at US you have issues with rising prices. The same is occurring here. Petrol price is now 32% higher than on last September. Statistical basket of goods from grocery store is more expensive by 23 percent in one year period. Additionally inflation in Poland is 10.9% in last month. The cost of living has shot through the ceiling in last few months. And war added to that over 2 millions of refugees from Ukraine. 1.5 milion stayed at Poland - mostly women and children. So they need our help and is is terrible hard to find job for them

- [ii] The Kama Sutra is an ancient Indian book variously concerning courtship, marriage, and love-making, popularly referenced for its sexual positions.
- The Kama Sutra was written in ancient Sanskrit in India, dated to 400 BCE–200 CE and attributed to an Indian philosopher, Vatsyayana.
- In Sanskrit, sutra literally means “thread” but also refers to a “text.” Kama variously means “desire, pleasure, love, or sex” and is the name of the god of erotic love. Together, Kama Sutra translates to “Teachings on Desire.”
- The Kama Sutra was first translated into English in 1883, typically credited to the British polymath Richard Burton—an original copy of which fetched over £11,000 at auction in 2012.

The Tigress
- This position is similar to the reverse cowgirl position. To begin, one partner lies down on their back, and the other climbs on top, sitting upright but facing toward their partner’s feet. The person on top rocks back and forth, controlling the pace and depth of the penetration.
The Milk and Water Embrace
- One partner sits in a chair, preferably one with no arms. The other partner sits on top of them, facing away.
Clasping Position
- This position is a variation of the missionary position. Both partners lie down across a comfortable surface, their legs stretched out, and aligned. One partner lies on top of the other, bellies touching, while the other partner thrusts from the bottom position.
Queen of Heaven
- One partner lies on their back with knees bent to the chest. The other partner positions their thighs on the outside of the other person’s bent legs and leans forward.
Ballet Dancer
- One person stands and balances on one foot, then wraps their opposite leg around their partner’s waist for support.
Splitting the Bamboo
- One person stretches out flat and shifts their weight to one side, then raises a leg up and rests it on their partner’s shoulder. Their other leg remains stretched out underneath their partner.
The Padlock
- One partner sits on a firm surface like a table and reclines back slightly. The other partner leans in, lifting the other person’s pelvis up, and cradling it securely. Then the seated person clasps their feet together behind the standing partner’s back.
