Ep.72 Torn Apart by Immigration then Redeemed by Education with Pennylope Kapere
Immigration has so many faces. Most times when people make it out we who are left behind believe our loved one has made it to greener pastures. As we listen to Pennylope share her story of immigrating from Namibia to the UK we learn that more often than not our assumption of what happens over there is not always as it seems. But even worse our loved ones are not able to share their truth or reality because they feel the burden of having to support the people back home or may feel embarrassed to be labelled as a failure.
We cover:
Pennylope Kapere is a Namibian young lady based in London. She works as an Educational Programmes Manager for global non-profit. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends, trying new adventures and reading. She says her life is a miracle.
