Ep 143 | 3 Reasons Having a Goal HELPS Your Kids - Why Your Kids NEED to See You Win

I LOVE being a mom, and I feel like it's been one of the greatest ministries I could ever have, what a gift! But I also, deep down inside, felt a stirring that I wanted to do something that matters outside of motherhood, something that would make an impact on others around me.

Sometimes I felt guilty for wanting something more than motherhood, but I also wanted to be my kids' best example, and how was I going to do that without following that call on my heart?

My greatest ministry is my children, and, because of that, I have to be willing to show them the way in which to walk. This includes how to listen to God's calling, how to set goals, how to take action on them, and how to win.

They are looking to me and my husband first, and if we're not willing to be that example, they will look elsewhere. I don't want that! I want to be their best example.

Today we're talking about the three reasons having a goal actually HELPS your kids. This will help give you permission to go after that goal stirring in your heart because your kids NEED you to!
