Students At All Levels Become Published Authors and Get Fired Up About Writing

Duane Smith, English Department Chair at Byram Hills School District, and his middle school students couldn't wait to tell us about Written Out Loud, their published books, and the skills and confidence they've gained as writers. This unique, fun and out-of-the-box program was recently featured on Good Morning America for the way it kept students not only engaged, but excited and progressing during the pandemic and beyond.
