What is the best way to reduce traffic on recreation highways during the busy weekend days? There is a campaign here in Colorado from a group called the I-70 Coalition that is titled “Break Up With Your Car” that is trying to increase transit ridership between the Front Range cities north and south of metro Denver to and from the mountains. The goal is to alleviate traffic on the major mountain highway, Interstate-70. Margaret Bowes, the Director of the I-70 Coalition joins me to talk about it.
