In a non-Spidey issue, Prof. Paxton Pentecost has finally succeeded in resurrecting Blastaar, a recurring villain for the Fantastic Four who escaped the negative zone, a nasty place which we saw earlier in Marvel Team Up 2.  Blastaar tries to attack Prof. Pentecost but the Professor has control over him and wants him to destroy a special building made from Adamantium.

Spidey is web-parachuting into the Savage Land to help Curt Conners find Dr. Stegron, a half-man, half-dinosaur.  After Ka-zar and Zabu help Spidey with a few feisty dinos, the pair are captured by the Swamp-men and taken to a temple. There, Dr. Stegron, in snakey dino form, explains he wants to return dinosaurs as the rightful rulers of earth.

Spidey  snuck aboard the dinosaur laden ark from the Savage Land. A scaly Professor Stegron is guiding the flying vessel to NYC when Spidey ambushes him! Stegron defeats Spidey and chucks him overboard!
