Indiana State Sanatorium opened in the early 1900s as a safe haven for tuberculosis patients. By the late 60s, it closed after adequate medication became widely available. By the 1970s the facility reopened as a psychiatric/long term care home and was no longer a safe haven. After years of patient abuse, deaths and suicides, it closed 10 years ago. Last year, the 500 acre area was reopened for tours and of course is rife with paranormal activity. Tonight we discuss the history before we explore there ourselves this August!
