In this episode Imran Lakha, founder of Options Insight, talks to Tony Greer, founder of TGMacro.

Tony is a 30-year veteran of the financial markets with a career focussed on the commodity sector.  After a successful career working at some high profile institutions including Goldman Sachs, Tony now runs his own research company where he writes the well respected daily newsletter “The Morning Navigator” which helps his clients steer safely through various macro markets.

Having been a big advocate of the long commodity trade, especially energy, they discuss Tony’s approach to markets, from observing daily price action, trend following and risk management.  Drawing on his many decades of experience, Tony gives his most memorable moments and lessons learned which have shaped the trader that he is today.  Imran quizzes Tony on position sizing and portfolio diversification and whether specialising in a certain sector or asset class is preferable to a cross asset but more systematic trading style.

They discuss motivations for providing training and mentoring in the trading arena and what still drives the passion for being active in markets after 3 decades.
