In this episode, The Animal Files enjoys a lovely chat with Theresa Lowes, Massage Therapist and owner of Freyja Wellness Massage in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We had a lovely chat about the amazing benefits of therapeutic massage, her incredible results, and how it can be an integral part of a holistic approach to wellness for both humans AND animals.

 

About Theresa:

Theresa is originally from Ontario, but came out to be closer to family. She has three kids(1 in Ontario and 2 that still live with her) and two dogs. She graduated with a degree in Social Work from the University of Waterloo and has always had an interest in health care and wellness. She decided to return to school at the Alberta College of Massage Therapy to become a massage therapist and is currently a member of CMMOTA. She has taken many courses to allow her to find better ways to help her clients. She believes in treating the client as a whole and looking for the cause, not just the symptoms. She now focuses on women’s health and wellness.
