They slipped into the church secretly, these “certain men” who Jude would call dreamers and ungodly and began spreading false teaching in the church. No, he wouldn’t call them out by name, but he would call them out by their actions using 5 Old Testament examples and 2 other ancient writing. See who they were wasn’t as important as what they were doing. So, Jude would remind the church to build themselves up in faith, prayer in the Spirit and to keep themselves in God’s love so they could know the difference between what was real and what was counterfeit.
