Today we talk to Samuel Terman; an epileptologist and researcher from the University of Michigan, USA, who specialises in helping people affected by seizures and epilepsy. Samuel tells us about his research into adherence to medications, polypharmacy, deprescribing, and the high rate of multiple disabilities amongst those with epilepsy. Samuel’s work focuses on optimising the delivery of medical care for patients with epilepsy, through medication decisions, hospital utilisation and readmissions, and inpatient seizure monitoring quality of care.
