The Crime Couch with Rochelle Jackson
True Crime
Imagine you're crawling in a 100-year-old mining tunnel with a dodgy torch and silent blackness all around.
This is what Sergeant Peter "Booter" Anderson faced. He crawled 70 metres under Ballarat's Black Hill Reserve hunting a serial sex offender who'd kidnapped a 16-year-old girl.
Booter has spent most of his time in Uniform in Victoria's western districts of Ararat, Ballarat and Buninyong. He was officially recognised for his bravery and determination that day in November 1998.
