Lecturer Peter van Paassen and student co-host Sam Aldred speak with Dr Suzanne Ryder. Graduating from SM&O in 2014 Suzanne is currently living in Italy. Suzanne holds a PhD in Social Sciences, from Victoria University, Melbourne, Australia. Suzanne spent seven months touring Europe in her red Camper-van named “Scarlet Jovansen”. She talks about her journey to get there and how the power of networking helped her along the way. We cover Ethnography as a research Method and how she applied it whilst following the professional womens cycling world tour. Suzanne offers some deep truths about starting her Bachelors, and offers advice to students who may find themselves in a similar position. ISMB and SM&O lecturer Henk Hille contributes with a short message about his love of highlighter pens.
