God flooded the earth with water, but He saved Noah and his family and two of each kind of animal. Did this cure the sin problem? Unfortunately, it did not. However, God made a covenant with Noah, his family, and all living things that He would never again destroy all living things with the flood of water. He didn't establish this covenant with Noah because he was sinless. Noah wasn't sinless. God made a covenant based on His grace alone. To confirm His promise, He set up a sign of His covenant: the rainbow. But who was this sign for? It appears God instituted this sign so that He would remember His covenant. In this episode, I review Genesis 9-11 and look deeper at God’s covenant with Noah, his family, and all living things. We will also see how sin continues to affect the world.
