Happy Wednesday! This week we are joined by Dr. Betty Adams, executive director of the Southern Virginia Higher Education Center. Where did her journey start? She was the assistant breakfast manager at Hardee's. Yes, you read that right, and no we are not lying. Everyone has to start somewhere!

Dr. Betty Adams says she always has had a good mind for business. She attended East Carolina University where she received her MBA.

She describes her leadership style as "transformational." She believes that it is important to have a good work ethic and never give up. She wraps up this episode by saying, "take risks and fail if necessary, set the example and chase what brings you joy."
