Things discussed:
- Bubbles: That’s how UConn is playing.
- JJ is looking guys off to create his space, and seeing the game from an advanced perspective. Knows what he’s got out there and is playing greedy.
- UConn was playing tough on the edges, Michigan beat it with Oluwatimi, with screens, and by adding tight ends to hid which side they’re running at.
- OL issues? A few targeting things where it’s just one guy and fixable. Maybe a little worried about Trente Jones’s pass protection.
- Defense: Waiting for a real opponent, but going to throw some weird looks at Tagovailoa. Really like Jenkins, seeing progression already from McGregor. Love that they have a dime again.
- Break: Keshaun Harris!
- Maryland? Got a good offense, returning everyone including some injured WRs who’ve been rusty so far. Defense is BAD. Due respect to SMU but their ILBs are not playable. Rakim Jarrett is the best WR they’ll see before Ohio State.
- MSU in trouble? They’re too good at getting more than they deserve. Secondary needed speed, got a guy named Speed.
- Run through the Big Ten. Minnesota? They’ve got an offensive identity (they MANBALL with everybody’s Chuck Filiagas) and a defense—do you need any more to win the Big Ten West? Wisconsin doesn’t have the OL of Wisconsins of old. Penn State? Auburn is terrible but PSU is a Top-20 team.
