In 2004 at Sapphire, Hasso Plattner gave the starting signal for Design Thinking at SAP. Since then, a lot has happened in the software industry in terms of UX design, including the founding of the SAP AppHaus 9 years ago. In the SAP AppHaus, design thinking and UX design are practiced and the human-centered approach is pursued, which consistently focuses on the user and his needs. In addition, SAP AppHaus now unites 17 globally distributed partners in the SAP AppHaus Network, who follow the motto “Make innovation real” with the same mindset and deep SAP technology know-how. This movement does not stop at the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP).
"Our focus with the BTP: Helping the customer extending, integrating and getting value of all the data they have already in their systems. Our vision: Integrate human-centered innovation in all customer engagement." (Andreas Hauser, SVP SAP AppHaus Network)
sovanta AG is part of the SAP AppHaus Network and thus closely connected to the SAP AppHaus. Together with his guest Andreas Hauser, SVP SAP AppHaus Network, Christian Heinrich therefore talked in this podcast episode about how the Partner Network makes innovation real on the SAP BTP. What makes the SAP AppHaus the perfect place for innovation? And why is the SAP AppHaus so much more than just a cool workshop space? How does the SAP AppHaus and its method set help with cloud transformation and is there still room for user needs in the fit-to-standard approach? What role does the SAP Discovery Center play and how do the use cases collected there help customers with the start on the SAP BTP? Andreas Hauser answers these questions and provides exciting insights into customer stories such as Rolls Royce and Daimler, as well as an outlook on the topics New Work and sustainability.
