Houston Methodist's Dr. Jenny Chang is noted for her work targeting inflammatory pathways for breast cancer tumors to change the tumor immune microenvironment. She is the Emily Herrmann Presidential Distinguished Chair in Cancer Research and the Director of the Dr. Mary and Ron Neal Cancer Center Professor of Medicine in Oncology, Academic Institute. Here she shares how she was raised in a traditional Asian family in Singapore, but her parents believed in equal educational opportunities for both sons and daughters. Chang studied in Cambridge in the United Kingdom.
