So sprach der Ankläger Telford Taylor während der Nürnberger Prozesse über Ernst Kaltenbrunner. 

Kaltenbrunner übernahm nach Reinhard Heydrichs Tod die Leitung des Reichssicherheitshauptamtes und war maßgeblich an den grausamen Verhör- und Foltermethoden in den Konzentrationslagern beteiligt.
