The modern day term, Vampire usually refers to mythological or folkloric beings who feed by draining and consuming the blood of living beings. The word “vampire” has been around for centuries, even mentioned in Babylonian demonology.  But, it took Bram Stoker's Dracula to create our current popular vision of a vampire with their sexy looks and romantic behavior.
