I Speak To Brian Hannan From The Blog The Magnificent 60s About The Making Of The Misfits…Clark Gable And Marilyn Monroes Final Film..
This is my fifth time trying to post. The fabulous Rachel emailed me that none of my shows had been loaded to other podcast hosting sites. If this goes through I will fill you in later.
show description
I found the delightful Brian while I was searching for info on a really creepy B flick, Stark Fear. When I found the blog I spent a couple hours reading Brian's reviews and behind the scenes info. I had watched the Misfits when I was much younger and did not like it. Now that I'm older, know more about the actors, and life I was deeply moved. Clark Gable thought it was his best film. Unfortunately, he died two weeks after filming at the age of 59. Lots of stuff on Marilyn and her marriage unraveling on the set, and on Montgomery Clift, who Marilyn famously said, was the only person she knew worse off than she was.
Brian is from Scotland and had issues with his microphone, but we were able to get his sound up.
Thanks so much to Brian, he's a sweetie. You can find his blog here
