Everyone was a “Wannabe” back in 1996. But whilst the Spice Girls were preparing to change the world, a plucky band of creatives were striding to change the Whoniverse!

Matthew Jacobs was the writer given that unenviable task of pleasing both the BBC and Fox Studios to deliver a script that would bring Doctor Who back to screens after a 7 year gap. The TV movie is now legendary. So how did Matthew himself become infamous?

Together with fellow filmmaker Vanessa Yuille, Matthew steps bravely back into the time vortex to bring us a brand-new, full-length documentary: “Doctor Who Am I”. Regular hosts Sarah & Dan are excited to welcome them to Type 40 to preview the film, talk about their friendship and share some of the creative and personal journey they’ve been on to bring it to the screen.
