Amy Denson is a retired professional basketball player. Today, she spends her time as a nutritional therapy practitioner, restorative wellness practitioner, thyroid mentor, and general badass educator when it comes to all things about functional health.
In this episode, she takes us on her journey of how she discovered she had Hashimoto’s Disease and was told there was nothing she could do about all the symptoms she was experiencing. She became an advocate for her own health, seeking answers from resources and professionals that would help her. There is no one size fits all treatment, so it’s up to all of us to take our health into our own hands.
When things don’t feel right in your body, listen to your intuition, and become your own best advocate.
