Number 14 in your Bengals program, number One in all Bengals hearts, Ken Anderson returns to In The Trenches with Dave Lapham, presented by First Star Logistics, to discuss all things Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers.
As Bengals Nation knows, Anderson is one of the all-time greats in franchise history and entered the inaugural Bengals Ring of Honor in 2021. After playing for the Bengals from 1971-1986, Anderson took a few years off before returning to the game as the Bengals quarterback coach in 1993. From 1996 to 2000, he served as the team's offensive coordinator and returned from 2001 to 2002 as a quarterback coach.
After a four-year stint with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Anderson would coach quarterbacks for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2007-2009, working for current Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin.
Who better to talk about Sunday's match-up between the two AFC North teams than Anderson?
During his visit, we spoke about the rivalry between the two teams, the play of Joe Burrow, Joe Mixon, Ja'Marr Chase, and the other offensive weapons, along with Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett and the Steelers' offensive and defensive attack.
