So many of our episodes cover the loss of people or the loss of life and either offer up a sad ending or a story that has yet to be finished. This week we are going travelling south of the border to The United States and we are going to cover a case that starts out so similar to many of the cases that we have covered and yet, one that has a happy ending. At the age of 14 a young girl was kidnapped right out of her own home and from a room that she shared with her sister. The family fought hard, never gave up hope and never gave up on trying to find their beloved daughter. About nine months after she was abducted all of the hard work and effort paid off and the young girl was discovered about 29 kilometres from her home. Now, she is an advocate for missing persons and victims of sexual assault.
