Communications Workers of America (CWA) District 4 Administrative Director Frank Mathews joined the America’s Work Force Union Podcast and explained why he believes Microsoft’s proposed acquisition of Activision Blizzard would be great for workers. The Federal Trade Commission is seeking to block the acquisition. 

 

Bill Benner, Director of Organizing and Political Action for United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) Local 75, appeared on the AWF Union Podcast and discussed the opportunities for organizing in the medical cannabis industry and why the rights of cannabis workers need to be protected. He also spoke about the threat automation poses to workers and recent organizing drives.
