GUEST OVERVIEW: Ashley Hess got her start on YouTube doing covers of popular songs, bringing in fans worldwide. A few years after starting her YouTube channel, she dove into songwriting and live performance which ignited her passion and changed the game for her. Happy Girl, Sad Songs is a phrase that she's coined and it's that magnetic polarity that has allowed her to share the stage with national acts such as Andy Grammer, Jason Mraz, T-Pain, Us the Duo, and Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons. Hess is widely known as a finalist on season two of American Idol in 2019, where Katy Perry deemed her a "bonafide star" and Luke Bryan praised her as being a "world-class" and "iconic" talent. Hess is currently recording an album that is set to release in 2023.
