On April 18, 1974, 25-year-old Frank Carlson was murdered in the dining room of his San Francisco home. His wife, 24-year-old Annette, was viciously assaulted and then left for dead. The perpetrator, Angelo Pavageau, was sentenced to death. When the California Supreme Court ruled capital punishment unconstitutional, Pavageau became eligible for parole, leaving Frank’s family to fight to keep him behind bars.
This week I am joined by Frank’s younger brother, Eric Carlson, to discuss the case, his family’s continuing fight to keep Pavagea in prison, and how listeners help can his family in their battle.
