Ep 179 | I Quit Social Media… Now What?! Experiment to Grow My Online Business WITHOUT Social Media

Is it time to shut off social media? Is social media distracting you from other priorities? Are you playing the comparison game when you're scrolling? And if you DO decide to take a social media break, won't that affect your online business?

Last week Gillian Perkins and I talked about knowing when it's time to give up and move on... Well, I took our advice and did exactly that with social media! What?!

I felt the pull for a while now to step away from social media altogether. Social media just hasn't been as enjoyable (probably because of all the ads I see rather than fun pictures of my friends), but it also can be so distracting. You think you'll go on for five minutes only to realize it's been more than an hour, and you're now behind.

So, after feeling the pull for a while and feeling God was leading me out, I shut it off. It's a hiatus. I haven't deleted anything, I just walked away. For how long? I'm not sure. Six months for sure. Maybe 12 months. Maybe forever. Time will tell on that part.

But... I wanted to come on today to share with you what I've already noticed in less than two months off the social media platforms!
