When we were young, we leaned on others for support and guidance. It makes sense. If you're a child, you should probably listen to your parental units, as well as mentors on what is okay to do.

And as we grew older, we looked to outside signs of what it means to be successful or what it means to have acceptance.
However, there's no instruction book on learning to listen to yourself, so we run the risk of living our lives based on other people's standards. How do we learn to stand on our own?
