Bio

Vinnie Corrales answers the age-old question: What do Pre-K teachers do at night? By way of Texas, Corrales blends clever irreverence with grounded surrealism, delivering hilarious and heartfelt stories about life as a teacher, being the product of—and currently in—an interracial marriage, and navigating adulthood with wit and vulnerability.

Vinnie has been featured on ESPN’s Bettor Days (Disney+/Hulu), and his comedy has appeared in publications such as Theater Jones and Voyage Magazine. He’s performed at major festivals including SXSW, Tower City Comedy Festival, and Dallas Comedy Festival, and has shared the stage with comedians like Ali Macofsky, Brian Kiley, Shane Torres, and Steve Byrne.

His debut comedy album, Rebel Without Applause: Live from Texas, features his signature Rubik’s Cube bit and is available on Apple Music, iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Pandora, and more. When he’s not onstage making strangers laugh, Vinnie can be found riding motorcycles with his wife or anthropomorphizing their cat and bulldog.

Oh—and despite all the comedy accolades, his proudest honors remain his back-to-back Teacher of the Year awards.
