Serendipity hit when I connected with Gloria! Finding an LD person who did not only have visual design skills but was educated at the Art Institute of Houston…well that’s the universe talking. And I had to take advantage of it!
Why this, Why now?
The art of visual design is often treated as an afterthought with L&D. However, with tools such as Canva at our fingertips, there is no excuse for bad design. Bad visual design creates an unnecessary barrier to learning and many times drives people immediately to cognitive or sensory overload.
