Three brave arts influencers join Carolyn Kelemen and Judy Templeton for the latest edition of Razzle Dazzle Radio, a discussion of current topics in the world of visual and performing arts and artists. Kimono Freeman is an award winning playwright, founder of the Black LUV Festival and WDC Mayorf’s Art Award Finalist for Excellence in Service to the Arts. He will Have a reading of his latest novel , “Nineveh” at Busboys & Poets in Columbia Sunday, April 2. Mark Beachy grew up on theater in Howard County. His dedication to the arts and his undying hope that the arts remains a vibrant force deserves our support for this awesome arts advocate. The show wraps up with Ian Kennedy who keeps us informed on the arts in Columbia. As founding director of the Downtown Culture Center, he points out a superb show in the works, Howard County’s high school musicians will join the rock band Guster at Merriweather Post Pavilion Sunday, May 21.
