Religion & Spirituality:Christianity
A weekly program produced by the Catholic Diocese of Harrisburg, Pa.
SHOW DESCRIPTION:
There’s a ton of jokes surrounding the guilt Catholics burden themselves with: we feel like we have to meet a certain set of standards, and be perfect at everything in order to gain admittance to heaven, to be considered good enough. Conversely, there’s a large push in the secular world to stop judging ourselves so harshly, that we are already enough. So which one is it? Father Johnathan Sawicki joins me to help us unpack these notions of guilt, how they specifically apply to our faith, and how comparison is the thief of joy.
