This episode, Aaron and Derek tackle 2001's Spanish gothic horror film "The Devil's Backbone" directed by Guillermo del Toro. They get into a brief history of the Spanish Civil War, Guillermo del Toro's background and career, and del Toro's exploration of boyhood, fairytale and horror. They also talk about each character in the orphanage and what fuels their motivations, how well this ghost story functions within the Spanish Civil War, and many other aspects of the movie.
