How I Get My Home To Smell Fresh Even With The Kids and Dogs!

Hey Friend!

I really love that freshly cleaned smell after Mrs. Elida came and cleaned our house when I was chasing around 3 toddlers, and carpooling my older children to and from school. It was so wonderful. Then we moved away and haven't had the luxury of a housekeeper since. She was the kind of helper that enjoyed having my children come ask her questions and brought treats for them from time to time. Goodness, I miss her!

During 2020, I was at home 24/7 with all the kids, puppy and dog, and they were always in and out of the house. I could clean and it was dirty again in 5 minutes. It was a real learning curve for all of us. Those days when I would sweep, vacuum, and mop the entire downstairs (after the kids went to bed), I would wake up the happiest, Bec cause the house smelled so clean and wonderful! It was like a fresh start, and my husband really loved a clean floor too. 
For a long time, they were the last thing I cleaned, and often got skipped all together because having children from teen to toddlers, no one has the same schedule, and rarely did I have enough time for the floors to dry... But goodness, the time and effort was worth it for the next few days as I enjoyed the fresh smell!
